Moody Mugs

****************
I love the collection of coffee cups over the stove and
usually pick out the one that I'm in the mood for,
to drink my coffee in. The framed motto has been there
for eons it seems and always makes me smile to
spray on the glass cleaner and polish it,
about once a month. The tea cup puppy did
come to visit me and did sit in my cup....I recall
being afraid of one that would
ticky ticky run to the edge of her porch and
bark at me till I was well past her territory
--- when I was about 7.

Love the journal spread and LOVE the motto. We can all appreciate the sentiment and stretch it to fit ourselves.

Amother fabulous spread, I am always amazed at the rich depth you achieve with WC pencils! and I agree with the motto completely :-)

Mugs look great! I have a few that I've bought while camping at places I really like. National Parks mostly. When it's coffee time I pick one that I want to pause and remember.

This is one of my all time favorite quotes! (Matter of fact, if I weren't such a chicken, I'd have it tatoo-ed somewhere!)

Yes! Someone else would rather do art or just about anything else instead of cleaning the house. I was just looking under the printer table and there seems to be a large family of Dust Bunnies living there and I am sure they have several hangouts around my house. Oh well, I am off to do art and let the little bunnies carry on without me bothering them.
Great job on your page.

I love it! Those blue mugs would go nicely at my house too, and the motto fits so well. Makes me feel so much better anyway! Your journal pages are magical, just like Alex said!

What a charming page. It makes me want to pull up a chair and join you for a cup of coffee.

Certainly a motto I live by! Love the drawing, the colors, the red background goes great with the blue mugs. I love how there are so many little things to see, and the little teacup dog, so cute! But you wouldn't want to step on one. . .the brush along the side is perfect.

Love this sketch., and your Tea Cup Chihuahua., is wonderful. You do know that there is such a dog?? The motto is certainly true, in most cases!!! Sorry I have not been around., been so very busy., hope to catch up soon!!!

This drawing seriously makes me want to curl up with a cup of coffee or tea.
So much for housework today...

You actually knew a dog that small? Oooh that would be nice.

Great page again.

Jessica has a class for photo gifts where she teached a bit of the Elements. It helped me a lot as I had no clue what to do or where to go. Here is one and here is another. I took the first one when it was offered just before Christmas.

Great post! I have a thing for coffee mugs myself. I love this - hmmm gives me an idea... I'm adding the motto to my book of quotes. I like the quote from the movie Yours Mine and Ours - she says, "Homes are for free expression, not for good impression." I used to be such a clean fanatic - thank goodness I got over that a couple of years ago and discovered that at heart I'm a true slob - an artist - a creative, free spirit - I always was, I was just not being myself.
