is a regular commenter--I asked to use her
recent photo of the new kitten.
I enjoyed putting the characteristics
of this pet,
around the border as she
will be pleased, I'm sure.
I feared inking the initial pencil
sketch would take away the
softness of the kitten so kept
it light in color to help --

I do so love your journal pages -you are are inspiration to me.
This little kitten looks so happy and care-free - a warming sight for what is here a very cold day! (Norwich, UK)
I was sorry to read that your family are not yet able to recognise your talent - they really are missing out.
What a wonderful, wonderful drawing!!
What a wonderful, wonderful drawing!!
Marancat---I live near Norwich, Conneticut--and have a memory of being in some stone building there, where they had a whole group of classical statues dimly lit which was awesome to me---I wished I could take classes there and learn all about anatomy and be a cool art student etc. Winna Jill
I Love, love, love this - just like cat to be so relaxed!!
Your pages are a wonder! Thank you, thank you!!! Jules W.
awwww...adorable kitten, wonderful rendering!!
Winna Jill - I visit often but seldom comment because your art work leaves me speechless - there are - so many levels to it - I admire your work and find it to be absolutely outstanding - Thanks for joining EDM and sharing with us -
It's PERFECT! Love the notations, too...
So beautiful, Winna!
I haven't owned a cat in decades, but whenever I need to relax, I imagine a kitty on my lap, stretched out & purring as I rub her tummy. Your artwork creates that same blissful feeling in me. Definitely something I would hang on my wall!
This kitty definitely is in it's zen moment! Great journal page. I'm intrigued by your embroidery too!
Well Missy is star!!! Last night and this morning she was a terror., she seems to love to get in trouble when the lights are out!!! Having to rearrange and move everything that is in her sight. She was a riot today, after exploring the basement she came up with cobwebs all over her whiskers. Sure hope she turns into a very lazy and sleepy adult cat!!!
Thanks Jill :)

I love the layouts of your journal pages- the colors, the notes and that's one laid back cat!
This is great.
This is charming and witty as well as being a great drawing!
Adorable, love ALL things "cat." And this is fab....love your stapler too. I'll have to see if I can get inspired by my array of staples. LOL.
What a fun journal entry!!! It would put a smile on any cat lovers face. Your work is awesome.
Oh, yeah --- I know that "I'm very pleased with myself" look! Like the one my Bearcat wears after jumping on the kitchen table (this is discouraged) or taking over the dog's bed.
This must be a male cat!
Oh I love this!!! We have 3 cats and this is just so charming! It so catches their personality! :) Your blog is so fun to visit! Thanks for all the inspiration!
