Good Times

Thursday Jan 24 2008

.......either people have not seen yesterday's Blog with the Red Book or they have and are not interested in being a part of this ---must be one or the other. Just not their "thing". So, perhaps it would do me some good to rethink asking for
input and do it all myself, creating certain characters. That could be quite a fun project in the wings for me. I love waking up each day with thoughts of how much there is to enjoy. The photo above is a set up of a few items I've collected with "time" theme---seems like a nice old hour glass would fit nicely in there.

Love this one, can't imagine how you come up with such great ideas. Keep them going. Some days I am away from the computer, so don't give up. Wish I could put my time that I do for myself in that basket, cause it is very small!!!!

Sometimes I wind them all up to hear all the tick tocking--

I love the set up. It would make a fantastic painting. I could see Ann Maulucci tackling it as a project, of course for her it would need to be done in grey scale. I guess that's what keeps you ticking.

I sure wish I had enough 'time' to paint it myself----but alas, my 'hands' are busy creating sumptutious surfaces at the moment.

The watch on the lower left looks like a train conducters watch. Was that refered to as a "watchbob"? Where is the chain? Did they have a special pocket on the vest just to store this?
My brother had one but just kept it in his jeans pocket. Not very handy.

Jill, Without Googleing, do you know how Times Square came to get it's name?
No cheating!

without Googling---special small watch pocket on vest with chain end going in button hole----now for Times Square without Googling---the New York Times Building is the tallest building there and thus the name---My Great Grandfather was the editor! Believe it or not ?
