"STONE WALL HANGOUT"

This second page on stones became
a companion piece for the next page,
although it did not start out
to be that at all. In the todo of
changing things around it became
either I make it so I like it or cover it
up with paper, which I started to
do and then thought
"Well, maybe I could just cover up the
bottom part and let's see what the
results will be from that move"
.....and so it became what it is---

Great job! I love sketching rocks, adding color and texture. You have really captured them here.

I really like these 2 pages. I'm very intrigued by the lettering under the rocks on the left side.

Hi Winna,
Thanks for your kind comment on my blog.

This is a great spread and has a resonance with me. This might sound odd ... When my cats used to sit like this (with their paws curled under, I used to call it their "pobble' pose (like a pebble). So, having your cat sit like this with your pebbles really does rock!

Magical stuff! I am still trying to figure out how you do those letters in the box where the cat sits :)

Gorgeous rocks, especially the wall - rich and 'full bodied'

Nice rock wall! Rocks are awesome. When I travel outside of Maine I actually miss the rocks.
