Toes Tormented EDM 199

I didn't think I'd do this challenge

but this ballet position was something

I could relate to, and it was a quick

page compared to what I often do.

I agree totally, I think this is why there are so few real ballerinas ;-) Impossible feat.or feet !

Come on Jill, I can picture you doing this in your kitchen while making a wonderful breakfast!

Anonymous: I won't attempt to shatter your illusions--I have my book ready to be sold now to anyone interested--it has two typos that are not terribly important, just change the meaning a tad-it would make good gifts for all occasions--I have to call the publisher and get directions on how to do this...exciting for me! Ouch! I was amazed at all the thumping when I went to a ballet as people went up on point. Ouch! my mind said so loudly I could hardly watch!

The broken glass instantly made me a less than 10 year old out on the farm. My mom was getting dressed to go out dancing with my dad when I wanted her to smell the water in the glass (one just like the one you drew!) which she bumped with her arm and the pieces cut across her foot. They got her stitched up that night instead of dancing. Yikes! Took me back to the guilt and the shame as that glass broke almost identically to yours. Weird huh?

I am sure there are lots of people who know just what you mean.

I had to laugh! Maybe it was a good thing that our dance teacher quit and got married, just before we were to start toe dancing. That was when I was a kid, many years ago, of course. We did get to try before she left, though. So I know what it feels like.
We probably wouldn't have been so crazy about doing toe dancing if we had known that it would make your feet hurt.

I think my whole ankle would break off, not just my toes.
