A Tweetcar Named Desire

Since this bird hung around on the
idled dozer for quite some time
with me in the yellow VW below
made me assume, he
thinks I'm another piece of
machinery sitting here--so
his eyesight was not up to par.
The morning doves all perch around here
usually on high wires or roofs--
where they feel
safe, while they check
their rather dry meal before
going down to feed--then it's
another perch n' search mission
for water..for people who know
nothing of A Streetcar Named Desire's
famous scene with Brando hollering to
Stella---you missed a
really good dramatic movie .
I wonder how many of you have
been able to find
the trademark object
that's on all my pages.

I confess, I cannot identify a trademark. I do see your name and the copyright sign, something JulieO would scorn :) and I never fail to see you creativity and personal style or your well thought out composition but as I say, I confess...

Owen it's small and in different places---sometimes its part of the design anyway and other times it's a bit hidden. Winna

I think I know what it is. I can see it in some, but not in others...

Winna, would you be at all interested/willing/able to show your process for coloring your journal drawings? Maybe some kind of simple step-by-step in photos? If not, I totally understand. It just baffles me how you do it. They are so rich with color and everything flows...

You need to come to a workshop I'm not having...too stressful---a small sef published book coming out next month will show you the work larger---but no directions. Winna

I love this page of your journal and the last one, although I must say I don't feel qualified to comment, only to say I enjoy seeing your work. Looking for your trademark is like trying to find the acorn in Birds & Blooms.

As always I am in awe of your ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. I do think I know what your trademark is...and I love it!

OK, this drove me a little nuts until I slowed down and looked more carefully. It only took three images to guess and fourth to confirm. I love your trademark ;-)
