the years and they usually are
expensive and far away .
Soooo, you are thrilled when they
are really worth all the time
and $$. This one was, as Claudine
is a marvelous teacher...here she has
dipped some material in the
melted wax to demonstrate draping
on a collage for added depth texture.
She and Danny Gregory
illustrated A Writers Paris book....
This is a lightly colored
spread.... for a change of color pace
in the Moleskine,
as one looks through it. My original
intent was for the girl's head to be
very large so I could emphasize the
colorful ribbons braided in her hair
on top---but changes happen...this
should say Topsfield, Mass----
big difference!

Lovely! (Especially the little bee.)
A gorgeous spread...so lush with imagery! :)
Beautiful double-page, and I absolutely love the shoes - they're so shiny they really come out from the page.
lovely spread
Love this spread!
great spread!! Glad you enjoyed your class!
You created a very fun spread, and a great ad for Claudia. I spent an enjoyable few minutes browsing at her blog. :)
I forgot all about telling people to mind their own beeswax - I'm glad you let us see yours!
Wow, this came out beautiful! How do you go from a line drawing to THIS colorful and expressive spread???
your work is just so beautiful - i'm in awe!
ve the deckchair. It is so dramatic. Just exactly the sort of painting that appeals to me. Is that with Matisse paints?
I love the way you lay out your sketchbook. You are where I want to get to (if that makes sense).
