"Best Fishes"
EDM challenge # 166

**************
My journal spreads are hardly ever quickly

done--as I'm not happy till I've fiddled

with them for a while. I always thought

the fish I designed was cool and decided to

use it and searched for the

Chinese coins and found them

to go with the theme of the Fish

as a Chinese Symbol. I could not

see what was on them well... so I

faked the writing and a friend said,

I may have written something

offensive---hope not :-)
******

Below is a photo of the wooden 'in the round'

20" fish on a pedestal, where you can see

the metallic copper gleam. He can be

swiveled around to the Sunfish side.

Wonderful spread - have been missing your work this last day or so. Glad the taxes are nearly sorted so you will can more time for your art. (Really, I am thinking of more drawings for me to view!)

I love this page! The fish was a wonderful inspiration! I love the colors you chose, and the way you wrote around the edge in white. What kind of pen did you use? I'm having trouble finding a decent white pen. Did you use paint or watercolor pencils for the color?

The white pen is Inkssentials opaque pen or uni-ball Signo UM-153 pen-----I use first, 3H pencil,Black Pitt Pens, Farber Castel watercolor pencils, and waterbrush..in the final stages, I may use bits of Acrylic paint from jars..here and there..not enough to cause pages to stick together. I spray lightly with Krylon Matte spray when I want to isolate the whole surface to work on top of. Winna
