Here's something I do, not very often for a friend--make them a card with one of my photos..this is for my brother who has two Border Collies and often will dog sit 2 others---he is a professional animal photographer and I love him to pieces. This particular breed (looks like Eddie on Frasier) I had bark in my house for three days till his owners returned....cute as heck butI was sleep deprived and thrilled when they came home.

Next time slip a little of the hair of the dog that bit you in the drinking bowl. It should calm him down. If it doesn't work on him, try it on yourself.
