I see the red ribbons tied to the metal star
every day from the windows and
when I drive into the driveway I always
love to see them blowing in the wind..
I had to photo them yesterday for the umpteenth
time as the late afternoon
light was fascinating me.
So this morning what I was working on,took
back seat to doing this spread which
reminds me of back in the 60's , learning
to play guitar enough to strum folk
music, perform a bit...and never forget
that music.

I like this one., is the answer really just blowing in the wind?? I can remember painting ribbons in class., always fun.
Scuss, Yes, you just have to go outdoors with a bubble pipe and blow them into the wind and they will spell out all you want to know.....
There is something so lovely about ribbons. I can image how much pleasure they are to watch blowing in the wind.

Really nice feeling from this pic - I love anything like flags and ribbons in the breeze. I have a lovely memory of Glastonbury a few years ago in the field with all the flags, just watching them and hearing them flapping against a beautiful blue sky. I wish I had a photo of that...
Reminds me of some happy times.
I remember making a movie for my English class based on this song back when I was a junior in high school. It's still one of my favorites. Great page and memory.
