"Yellow Is The Color:"

EDM #222
Draw your favorite drawing tool.
May 4 2009
**********************
I did this as quick as I could
with the #2 pencil as I sit with
many other art pencils
I own trying to vie
for number one position.
I have been in an "I
can't draw" funk and
needed to get this out fast
and now I do feel better.

Hahahaha.. I like your pencil! ^^ I remember I was using Staedtler Noris 2B pencils all my schooling life, as if the black and yellow stripes were like standard or something. :)
Love you sketch as always, and your handwriting is awesome!

Alex, I see those particular pencils are only available in the UK, even if the wood comes from California---and they sell in UK Staples but not here--but maybe someday---I like how they look...winna

Hi again Winna, I am so sorry for the confusion. My blog(or actually Our blog) is a joint-blog, with 2 other members namely Princess Koda(the owner), and Tanna(my fiancee and co-author). We usually distinguish our posts via the end of the title i.e. (by XXXX), and we also Label them.
Anyway, there really is an ocean between us, but we're connected by one sky. ^^ Here's the pencil that's the standard to all Malaysian school kids until today

Ah...the yellow #2! Still a joy to use. I have a fellow engineer friend that refuses to use mechanical pencils, saying the yellow #2 is the most cost effective writing instrument ever designed, with elegant simplicity yet flawless performance.

When I was a kid those big thick red or blue primary pencils were a favorite. Still are when I can find them.
