Another Eastport memory that is
a treasure along with the things
I came upon that screamed, "Buy me!"

Love it! Love it! Love it! as I do with all your work. I have those 'buy me' moments at books stores. The used book store is the worst. I try to go and not buy any but as I am wandering around all these books keep calling my name. I try only to buy the one that is yelling the loudest;-) Oh, and the art store is just as bad, too many yelling products!

I love your work so much I am going to try and be more like your sketches for awhile.
The Buy me Bug. Yes, we will have to start a blog for down with Yelling Products --- He HE he!
Oh well, when you are through with those books. Or need new space in your house.
Please consider the Men and Women over there. They do not have book stores. No, Art supplies.
I am sending all the books I just read to them.
My son is over-there. They need so much.
I know they would love all your work winna.

What art supplies to you use. and How long does it take???

I use HB pencils not too heavily, that I can see well, Pitt Pens in different widths, erasers, and then watercolor pencils (usually Farber Castell)with the Kuretake waterbrushes....winna

This is fabulous - the composition, the colors, and the content! How do you achieve such dark, even, large black areas?

I absolutely love all you work. I love the detail and how the more you look suddenly you see something new. I always have a moment of calm when looking at your paintings. I am so happy you are part of the group and contribute so often. Very encouraging to the rest of us.

I am overwhelmed with the comments and grateful----I got the black background slowly, using the "B" Black Pitt brush pen...in a Moleskine 8 1/4 by 5 1/4 journal on a double page spread. .. winna
