Cool drawing, and I love that building... and thats one sporty looking copcar (kind of fun contrast against the old building).

Excellent drawing - so much detail! I could have sworn it was pencil. I too love pen sketches, though I'd be hard pressed to do a building like this, I think. And what kind of pen is it?

I don't sketch cars much and it would take a while to get the hang of it---I remember as a yonsgster that all the boys could immediately say what a car "was" and offer all sorts of information-once you start to pay attention--they reveal themselves---we'll see how much I retain....I'm using two ball point pens...that are waterproof---one makes a finer line...Peper:Mate Write Bros M and a Bic Soft Feel Med---in the final stage after color usually I might use a heavier pen , such as a #5 or #8..fine line markers....

Hardware here refers to the pegs that secure the strings to the instrument, chinrest, tail piece and bridge. The type of material used for these hardware range from ebony, rosewood, boxwood, pernumbuco, snakewood and so on. Some premium hardware come with handcarved details, art deco style or plain. No matter what, investing in a violin that is set up with quality hardware is important as this determines the performance of the instrument.
