I also liked the graceful grasses just being there.

This reminds me of going to Manchester Ct. when I have not been there in ages and passing the Peach Festival signs by the fire station---and doing this for a few years---having to go to Manchester on that particular weekend and driving by the same area when I have other choices seemed strange. I can't even tell you when it is---it just happens--twilight zone---except nothing has been noteworthy except the odd coincidence. As I photograped the Iris I again thought of this---maybe I should paint something with peaches?
I lived in the north end section of Manchester as a child and we would go to the peach festival each year. I think they still hold it in August. The iris is beautiful, it may be the "Beverly Sills" variety. I can't remember if the variety is pink or peach. The grasses in the back ground make the whole picture. N
