So Spring has finally come to Spring Streetin Stafford Springs !
I'd like to sit out on that balcony type porch
with good cup of coffee and good
conversation with Historical Society
(this is where they are located)
member looking over the Stafford Springs
area with stories to tell.

Make sure you test the porch floor for durability ----it doesn't look that safe---we don't want to loose you !

If this building could talk it would tell you some pretty interesting story about the "old-maid" librarian that use to run it...
You must mean Old Maude---yes, she did put on a Victorian front, but what unbridled passion was loosed in the upstairs storage room !
Poor old Maude not around anymore to defend her honor!!! I just bet she would love what the Historical Society has done to her old Library., great photo, but agree with anonymous, porch does not look too safe.
