"Three Crow"
After going on the Margaret Stermer-Cox site
in her Dancing Cloud Gallery I felt the need,
the urge, the tap in the shoulder, the muse
speaking etc. and had to try a similar type
design to see how it feels to do some abstract
work like I did so many years ago when I
tried some Picasso techniques...what
I like is the feeling I get when one color
is added next to another....must be like
writing a melody and the next note is
what you want....well, this of course meant
getting back to working on the taxes
was delayed somewhat...what a surprise!

Not working on taxes is allowed., if the time is well spend doing something else. And I say, it was time well spent Taxes are a b---- anyway!!! Have a great day. :)
I see Scus made a comment---how I love to get them and know it was all worth it...winna
I like the abstract feel and yes, I will do almost anything else than start working on my taxes.
Nancy
I even got the vac out yesterday! winna
This may answer some questions:
.....how to abstract the crow---it was the only thing I drew first---then all those additional lines did it for me...fun! I took the original sketch scanned it and printed out two of them beside each other---then used my colored watercolor pencils to quickly add the color...it's a wonder the copy paper held up to the water used...winna
I like it...taxes are for the birds!
The older I get, the more right brained I get. Taxes are just too left brained for me! :) I'm going to have to get help to do mine, this year. I'm trying to avoid stress, so I'll think about that tomorrow!"
Good luck with your's!
"TAXES!!! WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING TAXES!!!"
I LIKE THE DOING THEM AT THE LAST SECOND. BUT THAT'S BECAUSE I ALWAYS
HAVE TO PAY THEM MORE THEN I HAVE
ALREADY.

I like your method of putting off those tax forms... don't you wish we could paint/decorate the forms? I'm a last minute filer too.. because I owe them money and want to keep it in MY pocket as long as possible.
Beautiful, and I love the composition! Makes me want to explore the site you mentioned.
It looks a lot better than taxes papers.
Yes Elaine,
I'd try to draw the sketches on the Tax forms in a witty way so they'd laugh themselves silly...winna
