It seems like every year the poppies bloom around Memorial Day. Then we get a wicked rain storm that beats them down. They don't seem to last, but they are colorful for a day or two. Nice photo...love the wall background.
Poppies are one of my favorite flowers. Mine are in total bloom in fairly heavy shade right now. I love them.N
